Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and staying hands-on with projects around the home, which gives him a practical appreciation for how thoughtful design and quality products make a real difference in everyday living.

Becky McGrew has spent more than two decades designing kitchens, bathrooms, and custom cabinetry solutions for homes of all kinds. Her background allows her to look beyond just cabinets and think about how each space flows, functions, and feels as part of the overall home.

In addition to cabinetry, Becky specializes in flooring and tile, making it easier for clients to bring all the pieces of a project together in one cohesive plan. She is known for listening carefully, adapting client ideas into workable designs, and building lasting relationships along the way. Many of her customers return to her again and again because of the trust and consistency she brings to every project.

Outside the showroom, Becky enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and working in her garden. Those same interests shape her design philosophy: creating spaces that feel comfortable, welcoming, and truly livable.

Jene Harkison

Jene Lawson brings both formal training and real-world experience to her work as a kitchen and bath designer. With over a decade in the design field and more than ten years in the kitchen and bath industry, she combines creative vision with technical understanding to help clients shape spaces that truly work for their homes.

After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg, Jene began her career with a commercial architectural firm before relocating to Michigan and focusing on residential kitchen and bath design. That mix of architectural training and hands-on residential experience gives her a strong eye for layout, proportion, and functionality, especially in spaces that need to balance beauty with everyday use.

Outside of work, Jene enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking and entertaining with her family, which heavily influences how she approaches design. She believes the best kitchens and living spaces feel warm, efficient, and welcoming, and she brings that mindset into every project she works on.

Nina Medlin brings three decades of experience in the kitchen and bath industry, giving her a deep understanding of both design and the remodeling process. Nina is especially skilled at guiding clients who feel overwhelmed by all the choices involved in a remodel. She enjoys walking people through the process, offering clear guidance and thoughtful opinions along the way so decisions feel manageable and confident rather than stressful.

Outside of work, Nina enjoys spending time with her family and being with her husband, Mark. Those relationships keep her grounded and are a big part of why she values creating homes that feel comfortable, functional, and welcoming.

Dave has been designing residential and commercial kitchens and baths in Southwest Michigan for more than 25 years. His experience across cabinetry, countertops, and full-room planning allows him to create spaces that are both visually striking and highly functional, tailored to how each client actually lives.

Dave is known for bringing creative ideas to the table while keeping the client firmly in control of the final result. He offers clear guidance, thoughtful suggestions, and practical insight, but always with the understanding that it is your home and your vision. His goal is to help people feel confident in their decisions and end up with a space that truly feels like their own.

Outside of work, Dave enjoys life with his wife, Kathy, and their family. Whether he is sharing stories from years in the design world or from family life, his warmth and perspective shape the way he connects with clients and approaches every project.

Kristin has been part of the Southwest Michigan community for more than 30 years and has spent over 15 of those working in design and home renovation. A graduate of Western Michigan University’s Fine Arts program, she brings both creative training and practical experience to residential and commercial kitchen and bath projects.

Kristin believes that good design starts with truly understanding the client. Guided by her philosophy, “If you don’t love it, it’s not the right one,” she focuses on creating individualized spaces that reflect each homeowner’s style, needs, and daily routines. Whether the project is large or small, she approaches every design with the same level of care and attention to detail.

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys staying connected to the local community and drawing inspiration from the spaces and people around her. That connection helps her create designs that feel personal, thoughtful, and built to last.

Terri Yore

Terri Yore brings more than 30 years of design experience, including over two decades with Hannapel, helping clients create spaces that are both functional and distinctive. Her long tenure and deep product knowledge allow her to see the full potential of a project from the very beginning.

Terri specializes in developing unique, customized designs that reflect each client’s needs and lifestyle. She believes every project deserves the time and attention required to get it right, no matter the size, and she is known for her ability to visualize how all the pieces will come together long before installation begins.

Outside of work, Terri enjoys staying active outdoors, whether that means time on Lake Michigan, fishing, or enjoying nature with family and friends. That appreciation for space and environment carries into how she approaches thoughtful, well-balanced design.

Eric has been part of the family business for his entire life, giving him a deep, firsthand understanding of how homes are built, renovated, and cared for over time. A graduate of Western Michigan University, he brings both practical experience and a strong connection to the Southwest Michigan community into every project he works on.

Eric specializes in windows, doors, and cabinetry, with a particular passion for lakefront and second-home projects throughout the region, including along Lake Michigan. He enjoys helping clients create spaces that balance durability, efficiency, and comfort, especially in homes designed for both everyday living and time away.

Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, Jamie, and their family, especially staying involved in their kids’ activities. That family-focused perspective shapes how he approaches every project: with an emphasis on spaces that are built to be lived in, shared, and enjoyed.

Mike brings more than 30 years of experience designing cabinetry for kitchens, baths, and many other areas of the home. Over the years, he has built strong relationships with his clients, many of whom return to him time and again because of his steady, thoughtful approach to design.

With a background in business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University, Mike combines product knowledge with a practical understanding of budgeting, timelines, and project flow. He specializes in cabinetry and countertops, helping clients create spaces that are not only attractive but also well planned and built to last.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and staying active outdoors, including time on the golf course. Those interests mirror his design style: relaxed, balanced, and focused on making spaces people enjoy living in.

Madison brings more than a decade of combined sales and customer service experience, along with several years as a dedicated kitchen and bath designer. Her background allows her to blend strong communication skills with a sharp eye for detail, helping clients feel informed and confident throughout the remodeling process.

She specializes in creating versatile, efficient cabinetry layouts that are tailored to how each client actually lives. Madison is especially focused on practical storage, smart use of space, and designs that feel both polished and personal. Every project is approached with the belief that no two homes or homeowners are the same.

Outside of work, Madison enjoys cooking, baking, tackling DIY projects, and staying organized at home with her family. That hands-on, detail-driven lifestyle heavily influences her approach to design: thoughtful, efficient, and built around real life.

For the past 25 years, he has focused specifically on kitchen and bath design, bringing a broad, professional design perspective into the homes he works on.

That diverse background allows Kim to approach kitchens and baths with a strong sense of structure, flow, and usability. He specializes in taking a client’s initial ideas and refining them into designs that are both visually compelling and highly functional, blending creativity with real-world practicality.

Outside of work, Kim enjoys cooking and creative projects, which naturally influence how he designs kitchens that are meant to be used, shared, and enjoyed. That combination of technical training and personal passion gives his designs a thoughtful, livable quality.

Matt brings a background in church leadership to his work at Hannapel, where he spent years focused on serving, teaching, and genuinely caring for people. That experience translates naturally into how he works with homeowners, especially those navigating a kitchen or home renovation for the first time.

Matt approaches each project with the mindset of a guide and educator. He understands that most people only go through a major remodel once or twice in their lives, so he takes time to explain options, answer questions, and make the process feel approachable rather than overwhelming. Whether someone is just starting to explore ideas or is ready to move forward, Matt is focused on making the experience clear, positive, and well supported.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys life with his wife, family, and a long list of personal favorites that include good coffee, great desserts, classic cars, and Chicago-style pizza. That warmth and personality are part of what makes him easy to work with and easy to trust with your project.
